How Declutter Box works

Order a Declutter Box
Declutter Box delivers one or more 62 litre plastic storage boxes which you can fill with your unwanted items and clutter.

Declutter Box is collected
Declutter Box collects the box and sorts the items. As it is watertight, the box can be left outside for collection at a time that suits you.

Declutter Box is distributed
The items are suitably distributed to local charity shops, charities and organisations.

Ordering your Declutter Box
A 62 litre Declutter Box costs £35 for delivery, collection, sorting and distribution. To begin your decluttering journey, you can order your Declutter Box by email, via Instagram or Facebook or using the form at the bottom of this page.

How does it work?
Declutter Box will provide you with one or more 62 litre plastic storage boxes which you can fill with your unwanted items and clutter. The boxes are then collected and the items sorted and suitably distributed to local charity shops, charities and organisations. Items included need to be useable by others. As well as being passionate about helping you declutter I am passionate about the environment and helping others and so will always do my best to find the right place for your clutter to go.
Where do the items go?
Declutter Box is proud to have donated your unwanted items to over 25 different charities and organisations - your unwanted items making a difference to others! A list of the places I donate the items can be found on my social media.
I've got so much stuff!
Declutter Boxes are opaque and at no point will any judgement be made because of what you have put into your box! You can rest assured the service is professional and discreet, with the number one priority being helping you create a peaceful and clutter free home.
How long can I have the box for?
Different people work in different ways and I want you to use this service in the way that most supports you. Maybe you will be a slow and steady 'declutterer' and having one box delivered every 2 weeks will work best for you or maybe you want to just get it done and you will require more than one box at a time. Please contact Louise to discuss your requirements.
How big is a declutter box?
A Declutter box is a 62 litre rigid plastic box. It is the perfect size to still be manageable when full (although depending on what's in it, it can still get pretty heavy!) and to not take up too much space in your home. It is intended for your smaller clutter but if you have some larger items you are wanting to get rid of please message me for advice on how I may be able to help. For example if you have a particularly bulky item that will take up a lot of room in the box, I may be able to take this for you separately depending on what it is but if you do have a lot to get rid of please consider ordering additional boxes as one may not be enough! The boxes are watertight and you do not need to be home to take delivery as it can be left outside.
I'm not sure what to put in the box
Any items you think may be of use to someone else are welcome but please also feel free to put in those items that you're just not quite sure what to do with and I will endeavour to find the best place for them. The boxes are only suitable for your smaller clutter but if you have any larger items please contact Louise to discuss your options.
What if I have valuable items to rehome?
Any items collected in a Declutter Box will be passed on free of charge and will not be sold on your behalf or for my own profit. Therefore if you have items that you think are valuable or you want to make some money from them please do not include these in your Declutter Box.
