These terms and conditions apply to all Declutter Box orders.  It is your responsibility to make sure you understand these terms and conditions and comply with them at the time you place your order with Declutter Box.

 

DEFINITIONS

1. In these Terms:

(a) Agreement means any Order relating to the Declutter Box offering, together with these

Terms.

(b) Box means the box that you rent from me as part of your Order.

(c) Clutter means items you place in the Box for collection.

(d) Customer or You means the person placing the Order.

(e) Goods means goods you purchase via the Website.

(f)  Order means the Declutter Box services or products available for purchase on the

Website or via social media.

(g) Me or I mean Declutter Box/Louise Martel.

(h) Terms means these Terms and Conditions.

(i) Website means the www.declutterboxgsy.com website operated by me.

2. PRICE

2.1 Orders: Orders are placed via the Website, email or the Declutter Box Social media accounts and each order accepted by me will constitute a separate contract on the terms of this Agreement.

2.2 Inclusions: Each Order includes a Box rental, including delivery and pick

up of your Box from your nominated address.   Each order is payable in advance.

2.3 Price Variations: I reserve the right to vary prices and will endeavour to

notify you of increases in advance. I also reserve the right to offer lower prices to new customers only.

3. PAYMENTS

3.1 Payments: Payment details will be provided on receipt of an order.

3.2 Payments are to be made in advance of your Declutter Box delivery.

4. REFUND POLICY

4.1 No Refunds: Refunds cannot be provided  except as required by law. Even if you do not make use of your Order you will not be entitled to a refund. If you have any concerns about your Order you can contact me on declutterboxgsy@gmail.com

5. USE, DELIVERY AND COLLECTION

5.1 Use: You agree to ensure the Box is used in accordance with our instructions.

If the Box is damaged you must notify me. 

5.2 Restrictions: I do not accept the following items for collection:

(a) medical waste

(b) human or animal waste

(c) paint (unless unopened)

(d) chemicals (with the exception of cleaning products)

(e) construction waste

(f) garden waste

5.3 Delivery and Collection: I will deliver your empty Box to you on the date

agreed and collect your full box upon instruction from You that it is ready for collection. You agree to ensure the Box is ready for collection at the scheduled time. 

5.4 Clutter: You acknowledge that once I have collected the Box from you all

Clutter becomes my sole property. I am entitled to donate or otherwise distribute or dispose of the Clutter at my discretion.

5.5 If deemed appropriate your Clutter may be given away via Facebook using the E-cycle Guernsey page or the Private Facebook Group created by Declutter Box - Declutter Box Charity Distribution Group.

5.6 On occasion items with a resale value of over £50 may be sold in order to generate funds for charities that cannot accept the donation of physical items. This is done at my discretion and a fee for my time and any other costs incurred will be deducted from the amount generated by the sale of the item.  I will choose which charities these additional funds should go to. 

6. GENERAL

6.1 Variation to Terms: I may vary or replace these Terms from time to time by

publication on the Website.

6.2  Privacy Policy: Any personal information collected by me in connection with

this Agreement will only be used or disclosed for the purposes of ensuring performance of this Agreement and any future like arrangement or arrangements. Please read the separate Privacy Policy for more details.
